Objective: To spread awareness about water conservation

India Water Week  addressed the issues of sustainability of water resources development and management in line with Sustainable Development Goals  finalized by the UN. The theme of the event was “Water Management for Sustainable Development”. The event was a widely attended international conference and Exhibition covering sustainability aspects of water. The conference was inaugurated by the Minister of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation.

The main thrust of the exhibition was to generate awareness among general public for conservation and optimum utilization of water resources of the country. Keeping this in mind, Suncity School sent its team of water ambassadors of grade four to spread awareness of water conservation through song, dance, art, drama, poetry. They stole the hearts of the visitors and took pledges with the public to save this precious resource.
