Our 'Big Questions': What is the best design for an urban wind turbine?; How could such a turbine help our school and our community to use less polluting sources of energy?

PROJECT ACTIVITIES:

Students learned difference between renewable and non-renewable sources of energy, simple building techniques, what generators do, teamwork, persistence

THEORY TO PRACTICE:

Inspiring students to think about sustainable development and leading the inquiry process on environmental stewardship issues with students as active participants in the learning.
