The objectives of this task were for the students to learn to work together with the teacher and mentors in creating a video story about their immigration experience.
Through their stories, the students were able to foster a sense of community and inclusion by openly sharing their own personal experiences.
This project was done as a club at lunch time and with a small group of students. Hopefully, more students will be interested in sharing their stories.
The students took an active role in creating milk bag mats to send to countries that would use them.
