I'm currently rebuilding a 1966 ford galaxie 500. Once I tighten the main caps the crankshaft locks up. The caps are in the right oder, the crankshaft is in great condition and it's got all new bearings that have been properly lubricated. I believe the bearings are too big. Micrometer reads little to no gap at all. I'm asking for help in determining the correct size bearings, or if there are other possible causes to the problem.
